UNT Faculty Profile: Timothy Montler

Professor Montler has worked in Salishan linguistics since 1977 and has also done field work and published on Alabama, a Muskogean language. Since 1992 he has been working closely with the Klallam tribes of Washington to help their language revitalization program. He currently is also working on a comprehensive dictionary and electronic archive of SENĆOŦEN, the Saanich language of British Columbia.
