Biography

Cheryl Croall received her MS in Communication Studies from the University of North Texas and is pursuing an EdD in Organization Leadership at Abilene Christian University. Her research interests include Women in STEM, Technical Communication, Strategic Communication, and Organizational Leadership.

Ms. Croall has over 20 years of communications experience in a range of industries including strategic business consulting, construction, advertising and data analytics. She has held positions at Wunderman Thompson, a global digital agency in over 70 markets, and McCarthy Building Companies, a national construction firm. Additionally, Ms. Croall is an experienced educator who has taught collegiate-level courses in Technical Communication, Communication Studies, Public Speaking and Business Communication.

Ms. Croall is the President and Co-Founder of a philanthropic organization, 100 Women of Richardson, and was on the Board of Management at the Richardson Family YMCA. She has served in those roles as well as other community boards. She is dedicated to promoting education, helping others grow professionally and supporting communities. She is also a current volunteer speaker for a Dallas nonprofit , Attitudes and Attire, which supports women who have experienced a hardship or incarceration learn interviewing skills to rejoin the workforce.


Outside the Classroom

Cheryl enjoys reading, watching sports, spending time with her family, and going to the beach.
