Get Help in the Tech Lab, Connect with TACO Lab

The TECM Tech Lab is a specialty instructional lab supporting UNT technical communication instructors and students. Our instructional labs are equipped with the technology and software necessary for technical communication coursework. Lab Assistants are specially trained to help students learn software tools and skills to produce technical and business documents.

The Tech Comm and Community Outreach (TACO) Research Lab aims to increase awareness of technical communication in our academic community (both higher ed and K-12), our North Texas community, and our industry.

Get Your Bachelor's and Master's in Only 5 Years

If you're highly motivated and want to get both your undergraduate and graduate degrees as soon as possible, a five-year, combined BA or BS + MA in Professional and Technical Communication might be for you. At UNT, these programs are called Grad Track Pathways.

Admission to the Grad Track Pathway is highly selective. To be eligible to apply, undergraduate students must have completed 60 undergraduate hours, including TECM 2700 and 3010 (with As), and have maintained a cumulative 3.5 GPA, including transfer credit.
