LTC Linguistics Professor Haj Ross and John Goldsmith (Professor and Chair, University of Chicago) have begun to assemble an archive of videotaped conversations with prominent linguists about their lives, their colleagues, and their work in linguistics.

The "Lives in Linguistics" archive currently features interviews with Ross and Goldsmith as well as Catherine Chvany, Francois Dell, Lila Gleitman, and Jerrold Sadock.
